Chantel Nortje
Chantel graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. Chantel began her career in the field of paediatrics and her love of working with children and their families has established her niche in Paediatric Physiotherapy. She started working at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, the largest tertiary paediatric hospital in South Africa. She gained invaluable experience treating babies and children across all medical and surgical wards, trauma and ICU.
Chantel completed her Bobath training and then moved to the UK with her husband in June 2009.
Chantel has continued to work in the field of Paediatrics and previously worked in the NHS prior to joining the private sector and starting at Therapy4Kids in 2010.
Chantel loves being a Paediatric Physiotherapist and finds her work both exciting and very rewarding. She enjoys treating all babies and children, no matter their age or diagnosis. She has, however, developed a particular special interrest in the children who have more musckulo-skeletal and orthopaedic problems and babies with developmental difficulties. She has extensive experience in the understanding of posture, the spine and pelvis, core stability, musculo-skeletal therapy, biomechanical alignments and orthopaedic conditions.

- Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP)
Chantel is enthusiastic and her goal is to make Physiotherapy fun for kids. She is dedicated to help children improve their confidence and achieve their maximum potential through play. She is extremely dedicated to the children and families under her care at Therapy4kids.
